Stylish house with Backyard + 4 min walk to Beach

Great stay in a lovely house. Positive: The spac, decoration, equipment supplied and cleanliness.

Lovely property situated in the heart of Great Yarmouth Positive: Location is fantastic if you’re visiting the seafront, from the property to the seafront is approximately a 5 minute walk. Negative: The area is quite rundown and parking wasn’t that easily to find, we had to park a number of streets away.

Negative: The accommodation itself was generally clean and presented well, however there were several aspects of our stay that were disappointing. The main double bed was quite uncomfortable and the pillows felt very cheap, which unfortunately left me waking up with a sore back. Parking was also more difficult than expected. Whilst there were spaces outside the property, these were already occupied by residents when we arrived and there does not appear to be a designated parking space for guests. As a result, we had to park some distance away and unload our luggage, baby and dog, which was far from ideal. We were also asked to pay an additional pet fee after the booking had already been confirmed. As cancelling at that stage would have resulted in us losing approximately £155, we felt we had little practical choice other than to pay the additional charge. Following our stay, we received a claim for alleged damages which we dispute and which has since been referred to Booking.com for review. We did not experience any issues with the facilities during our stay. Unfortunately, the handling of matters after checkout overshadowed what could otherwise have been a much more positive experience.
